half of pound bacon
1 large head romaine lettuce leaves, torn into chunk length portions
1 (eight ounce) bottle bottled Caesar salad dressing
freshly grated Parmesan cheese to taste
salt and black pepper to taste
1 (10 ounce) bundle (6-inch) pocket pita bread, halved
